Snow.
I'm really not fond of snow.
Especially in April.
It's just wrong to see flurries coming down from the sky in April. We left home and it was in the 70's and sunny...we put 778 miles on the car yesterday and today, thanks to the snow, we only went 248.
We're stuck. Just the four of us. Stuck. And it's FREEZING. Seriously...it was 16 degrees today. Poor Lilyana doesn't know what to do with the cold wind that is so biting. She keeps putting her hands up and saying, "Home!" But we're hoping to press on in the morning...assuming that they open the freeway again. Hopefully we'll make it...
And since we're stuck and Ben is writing code and the babies are sleeping, I thought I'd post some sunny, warm and muddy pictures from the weekend. The annual Hector Bonfire took place and this year, the boys wanted to take their trucks out and play....so we did.
I know that this is very different than anything I've ever posted, but it was so fun...we all want to go again! I'm too tired to write captions, so I'll just put the name of the driver for most pictures.
Enjoy!
Ready...set...
Go!
